About me
Background: I grew up in Albania, a small country of many contradictions where people speak one of the
most ancient but least studied languages in the World (Illyrian). Went to military school for 4 years, got a computer science
degree and taught at the Computer Science Department for 5 years. Together with two colleagues from the faculty I started
the first software house in Albania soon after the communist regime was replaced by a democratically elected government.
Came to United States in August of 1995 and got an MBA from the great UW Madison in Wisconsin. I spent the next 5 years as VP of IT for
an insurance company in the really cold but peaceful paper town of Stevens Point. In 2002 I decided to migrate to warmer climate
and chose the beautiful city of Atlanta to be my new home town. Here in Atlanta I spent a few years working as the VP of IT for
a local marketing company. Currently I consume most of my time running my SQL Server tools company:
